Ilana Krupp

Ilana is an accomplished educator with 15 years of experience in the field, both nationally and internationally. Of that time, Ilana has spent more than a decade working with children with mild to profound disabilities and/or developmental delays and their families from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. Ilana's broad range of experience includes children with ASD, ADD/ADHD, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy and chromosomal disorders.

Ilana has a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Education (Special Education Inclusion and Early Intervention) from the University of Melbourne. In her practice, Ilana incorporates communication strategies such as:

  • Boardmaker pictures
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
  • Makaton Key Word Sign, and
  • Aided Language Displays (ALDs)

Ilana has networks with a broad range of professionals in disciplines such as general medical practitioners and specialists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech pathologists.
